Our beer,
brewed in Anglet

Sydney's beer is not a big-brand lager at the back of the fridge. It is a blonde brewed twenty minutes from the restaurant by Landberry, a craft brewery in Anglet, and canned under our name.

Why a local beer

A smash burger is eaten fast, hot, with your hands. It needed a beer that keeps up: light, cold, not too bitter, one that does not overpower the cheddar and the pickles. And it had to come from here. We eat in Tarnos, we drink Basque.

Who is Landberry

Landberry is a craft brewery based in Anglet, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. They brew a short range — blonde, IPA, wheat beer, an alcohol-free hop soda — and offer custom labels for wine shops and restaurants. That is how we got a Sydney can, checker pattern and logo included.

What is in the can

A pale-ale style blonde, 33 cl. Water, barley malt, hops, yeast — nothing else. Served very cold, €5.50 in-house. Contains gluten.
Please drink responsibly.

What to drink it with

With the Smash Bacon, whose fat it cuts through. With the Fried Chicken, whose crunch it extends. With the fries, always. If you do not drink alcohol, Landberry also makes an alcohol-free hop soda: ask at the counter.
